Privacy Notice
This notice explains what personal data we collect, why, and who else handles it. We follow Kenya’s Data Protection Act, 2019. We don’t sell your personal information.
What you give us
When you request an audit, we collect your email address, and your name, organisation and programme name if you add them. We also collect the site name, what you want audited, and the site boundary coordinates. If you email info@greencreditskenya.org, we keep that email.
How we use it
We use it to run your audit, reply to you and keep a record of the work. We don’t use it for anything else without asking you first.
Who else handles it
- Web3Forms processes the audit request form and passes it to our email.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and forwards mail sent to info@greencreditskenya.org, and Google (Gmail) receives it.
- Pesapal takes payments when we sell audit reports. It handles your card or mobile-money details. We don’t see or store them.
- Mapbox supplies the maps and receives your IP address when a map loads.
How long we keep it
We keep audit requests while we work on them, and for a reasonable time afterwards in case you have questions. Ask us and we will delete your details.
Your rights
Under the Data Protection Act you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to how we use it. Email info@greencreditskenya.org. If you aren’t happy with our reply, you can complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
We collect limited data through cookies and analytics, such as which sites send us visitors. We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, and read how Google uses data from partner sites at policies.google.com.
